We built Ihsan because we were tired of prayer apps that forgot what matters.
Most prayer apps are bloated. Ads between every tap. Three screens just to see today’s times. Data harvested and sold. Notifications that distract instead of remind. We wanted something different: focus.

Compass and AR-powered. Reliable. Clean. Point your phone and know you’re facing the right way. Distance to Mecca, calibration help, and haptic feedback when you’re aligned. No gimmicks—just a tool that works when you need it.

Not just tracking for tracking’s sake. AI-powered insights that help you understand your patterns and build consistency. Streaks, weekly reports, and a spiritual journey timeline—so you can see how you’re doing without guilt or overwhelm. Guidance, not pressure.
Your worship is between you and Allah. We built Ihsan with zero data collection, zero accounts, and zero tracking. Everything stays on your device. Period.
Security first
We don’t want your email for “an account.” We don’t send your location to our servers. We don’t use third-party analytics or ad networks. Prayer times are calculated on your phone. Your completion history lives only in your phone. So does your journey. We literally can’t see it—and we think that’s how it should be.
Why “Ihsan”?
Ihsan (إحسان) means excellence in worship—one of the three dimensions of Islamic faith: Islam, Iman, Ihsan. We chose the name because we wanted the app to embody that idea: doing this one thing—your daily prayer companion—with excellence. No clutter. No compromise. Just what you need, done well.
This isn’t a company trying to monetize your faith. It’s a tool built by Muslims, for Muslims, to make one part of your day a little easier.
